RESTORATION THROUGH YOUR RIGHT STANDING WITH HIM

Verse 3: He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

In Adams Garden of Eden, Adam carrying mankind in his loins fell with all mankind. (Romans 3:23) The glory which he lost, mankind lost. The peace and spiritual relationship was also lost.  But the restoration of man to His original estate was not lost because God had a plan. (Gen 3:15)

This great loss to our first parents, mankind and the creation at large will be restored in the fullness of time when He makes all things new. This tragedy was no surprise to God because He already made a provision by slaining His son the Lamb of God (John 1:29) before the foundations of the earth to restore all l things to Himself.

Man died as a result of sin but God who is rich in mercy

The soul that sinneth must die so we all died in Adam. (Ezekiel 18:20) For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:19)

He leads you in the pathway of righteousness for His name sake but for yours too.

1 Corinthians 5:21 Him who knew no sin became sin that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. The lost soul is restored as we receive the gift of righteousness.

Romans 5:17 for if by the trespass of one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

Your soul is restored to life from death as He died in your place on the cross.

Prayer: Thank You heavenly Father for restoring my soul and leading me in the pathways of righteousness. Thank you for restoring to glory and fellowship in Christ Jesus. I am grateful         for all the sacrifices. Amen.
